Bronwyn Conroy International Beauty School introduces our New
BABTAC Facial Electrotherapy Diploma Course.

Bronwyn Conroy International Beauty School offers the wonderful BABTAC Facial Electrotherapy Diploma Course where facial electrical treatments are an ideal extension to a basic facial therapy qualification.

During this advanced Facial Electrotherapy Diploma Course at Bronwyn Conroy Beauty School in Dublin, students learn how to perform a detailed skin analysis and how to devise a treatment plan for a variety of skin types using facial electrical treatments such as galvanic and high frequency, steam and vacuum suction, faradic EMS, and micro-current. Facial electrics treatments can have a dramatic effect on all skin types; they improve the appearance of the skin, help postpone early signs of ageing, erase minor sun damage, scarring and pigmentation giving the experienced therapist more choice for their clients’ skin care needs.

A qualification in galvanic and high frequency facial electrical treatments is required to train in the world famous Hydradermie facial from the prestigious skin care company René Guinot. In order to complete our Bronwyn Conroy BABTAC Facial Electrotherapy Diploma Course, students must hold CIBTAC aesthetics diploma / level 2 diploma in beauty specialist techniques, skincare and facial certificate or equivalent. A photocopy of qualification/s with application is required.

Bronwyn Conroy Facial Electrotherapy Qualification:
Students gain a highly recognised accredited diploma upon successful completion of the course. The  Bronwyn Conroy Facial Electrotherapy Course is accredited by BABTAC (British Association of Beauty Therapy and Cosmetology) which allows you to obtain public liability insurance to work in salons and spas in the UK and overseas.

Course information:
Training involves 5 full days or 10 half days to include home practice and completion of 6 case studies. The final day of training is a troubleshooting practical session with theory and practical assessment on clients. Students will initially learn by practicing on each other, however throughout the course students are also required to provide clients to work on, plus a suitable model (with no contra-indications to electrical treatments) for the practical assessment on the final training day.

Assessment information:
All students must complete 6 case studies. Students must take pictures before and after treatment. Consultations must be completed and signed by both the client and therapist. Before and after pictures are stuck onto the back of client’s consultation and presented in a folder with poly pockets to be marked. If all 6 case studies are not completed the student will not receive a certificate. These case studies can be completed in our School during our College Salon.
