VTCT Level 4 Certificate IPL for Skin Rejuvenation
NVQ Level 4 IPL Training can provide you with the skills required to carry out skin rejuvenation to an exceptionally high standard. In addition to this, students will learn the basic health and safety precautions for operating IPL technology in the salon.
The regulatory body states that all therapists wishing to carry out laser or IPL treatments must have the NVQ/VRQ Level 4 qualification by 2017 . This will be a mandatory requirement by 2018 in the UK. (there is currently no actual legislation in Ireland although Insurance is becoming increasingly more difficult to obtain without a recognised qualification) Completing this qualification now will ensure that you have the knowledge, skills and actual Qualification to treat clients in a safe and insurable manner.
All of our Tutors have years of experience working within the beauty industry and working with advanced treatments, as well as being qualified Teachers and Assessors, therefore we have the practical experience to back up the training and the skills and knowledge to deliver the material.
We also provide follow up support, so if you do have any questions or are unsure of anything we are there to help.
The Level 4 Certificate in Laser and Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) Treatments (QCF) is a vocationally related qualification and is focused on photo rejuvenation of the skin using intense light. The course is conducted using an IPL Quantum provided by Laser Tec Ireland.
In this qualification you will develop an understanding of managing safe working practices and how to identify and control hazards.
Only fully qualified Therapists can attend due to the level of knowledge required to competently participate in this course. A full Pre-assessment is therefore required which may highlight areas that need to be studied or revised in advance of attending the course. This is to ensure that the level of teaching can be pitched at the highest Level and that all participants are at the same starting point upon commencement of the course. CIDESCO or A&P and/or Beautician with Facial Electrical and Epilation are ideal qualifications.
